Calm
Returning to even breath and a quiet, steady presence.
Calm is the ability to stay present with what is happening without losing yourself. From calm arise clear decisions and healthy boundaries.
Short
- «I return to a calm and steady presence.»
- «My breathing becomes soft and even.»
- «I allow my body to release any unnecessary tension.»
- «I carry within me a silence I can return to.»
- «Calm is my natural support.»
One minute
I take one attentive breath and slow down. I do not need to solve everything right now. I can allow myself a pause. I return my attention to the body and find support in my breathing. Calm lives in me deeper than all the events of the day. I release the excess noise of thoughts and keep only what truly matters. I allow myself to move at my own pace. Each in-breath grows softer, each out-breath grows longer. Today I choose calm, clear, and kind presence.
Contemplation
Calm is not the absence of what is happening. It is the ability to be present with what occurs without losing yourself. Calm gives rise to clear decisions and healthy boundaries.
